Joining the CSDP offers professionals a unique opportunity to engage in a vibrant community dedicated to advancing diversity and inclusion within the supply chain. As a member, individuals gain access to valuable resources, networking opportunities, and educational programs that empower them to champion diversity in procurement. CSDP serves as a hub for collaboration, enabling members to exchange best practices and contribute to the collective effort of fostering a more inclusive and equitable business environment.
MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA & EXPECTATIONS

To participate as a member of CSDP you must:

Employment or Agency Role: Work for or act as an agent of a corporation, government agency, or non-profit organization that has or is starting a supplier diversity program that promotes an inclusive supply base.

Responsibility or Influence: Has responsibility or influence over supplier diversity for a company, university, non-profit, or government agency, ensuring the inclusion of underrepresented groups in purchasing decisions.

Local Participation: Participates in local supplier diversity efforts and are a member of a certified supplier diversity council (e.g., NMSDC, WBENC, or affiliated regional councils).

Join a committee: Participate in one of the Council's working committees , which are as follows:

Governance
Committees may be created or decommissioned by the majority vote of the Board of Directors

Pay Dues: Pay annual dues and maintain good standingg

Sponsor Efforts: Be willing to sponsor/host future efforts to enhance the organization

Attend Meetings: Participate in general membership meetings

Adhere to CSDP Code of Conduct
